Verify title history through the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS), retrieve live Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) directly from source state DMVs, validate borrower information, generate state-specific title and lien forms, and enable secure electronic signatures. From transaction creation through title processing and DMV submission, every service is asynchronous, callback-driven, and built to support production-scale lending volumes.

Offerings:

• Quote & create transaction: Get an upfront fee estimate, then create the working transaction record that everything else hangs off of.
• Pull title history (NMVTIS): Verify branding, prior title, and odometer history. Asynchronous — fires a callback when ready.
• Pull current vehicle record (MVR): Fetch the live state DMV record — owner, lienholder, registration — in the unified MVRBaseRecordDTO format.
• Generate & sign forms: Vitu builds the state-specific forms PDF; the customer signs digitally; Vitu Support reviews. Support for notary available in required states as well.
• Submit to the state DMV: Commit the transaction, download the shipping coversheet, and ship the originals.
• Receive callbacks with status updates: Vitu surfaces callbacks as the title work is completed with the DMV.
